Mitch groggily opened his eyes to discover he was still at The Trainyard, the local divebar he'd gone to last night. He remembered early Freshman orientation had ended, and to celebrate being a successful leader his group had taken him drinking. Then it all got hazy. Beer. Tequila. 90's country playing on the jukebox. A fight? Mitch tried to stretch his jaw. It cracked. Yup, there had definitely been a fight, and he had taken a left hook to the face. He could only assume that was when he passed out. It must have been about 4 hours ago. He looked at the clock: 6am.

"Hey kid, wake up, you've been sleeping here all night!"

Mitch groggily opened his eyes to discover he was still at The Trainyard, the local divebar he'd gone to last night. He remembered early Freshman orientation had ended, and to celebrate being a successful leader, his group had taken him drinking. Then it all got hazy. Beer. Tequila. 90's country playing on the jukebox. A fight? As a former collegiate wrestler, Mitch could get pretty rowdy. In fact, he was kicked off the team for partying too much. He definitely remembered a fight. Some punk was trying to push him around. Mitch was short, but jacked. For some reason, he seemed to attract dudes who thought they could mess with him.

Mitch tried to stretch his jaw. It cracked. Yup, he had taken a left hook to the face. He could only assume that was when he passed out. It must have been about 4 hours ago. He looked at the clock: 6am.

The bartender, an brunette with crystalline blue eyes in her early 30's wearing jean shorts and a black tank top, handed Mitch a cup of coffee.

"Here kid. On the house. You look like you need it."

"Thanks," Mitch managed to choke out. He took a sip of the coffee. It was heaven compared to every other feeling in his body. He was hungover, beaten up, dirty, sweaty, and exhausted. He closed his eyes and drank the coffee, letting the caffeine wash through his system in hopes it would wake him up.

Finishing the coffee, he put the porcelain mug down on the bar and reached behind him to grab his hoodie. As he put it on, the bartender looked at him and slammed a nearly empty bottle of tequila down on the bar. There were about 6 shots total left in it.

"You and your friends couldn't quite finish this last night and I can't rightly justify putting this back on bar. So what do you say, handsome? One more for the road?"
