Katie couldn't believe she was going to the Prom. her dress and all of the expenses were surprisingly taken care of since the dress was a gift from her Aunt Jill, and the rest was planned by her best friend Krysten, who she met back when she started cheerleading. The term "friend" is being used a bit loosely, as she was one of the cheerleaders who helped embarrass her for the past couple years, being a senior now herself. She was, however, the only one who tried to cheer Katie up after every incident. What Katie failed to notice was that she had gotten close to her in order to completely humiliate her during the highest points of her senior year. So, it was Krysten, along with the other cheerleaders, football players, and others who would do their bidding, that would make this night one that Katie would never forget!

1. The Cheerleaders

Katie descended the stairs in her beautiful dress. It was a blue strapless dress that has a satin bodice and a satin skirt that flared outward and was draped in light blue lace. A matching light blue lacey shawl competed the look. Katie's parents and Aunt Jill were standing at the base of the staircase, fawning over how elegant she looked and her father took a few pictures of her. Katie felt like a princess, her makeup was subtle and her hair was up in a braided bun. She blushed as she met Aunt Jill's eyes because of the deal she had made in order to wear this dress. - Manipulated by the cheerleaders to do their bidding, the football players make up the strongest and dumbest group in the school. While by themselves they can be good (if rowdy) people, while doing the cheerleaders' bidding, their sense of morality disappears completely.

Katie couldn't believe she was going to the Prom. her dress and all of the expenses were surprisingly taken care of since the dress was a gift from her Aunt Jill, and the rest was planned by her best friend Krysten, who she met back when she started cheerleading.
