Welcome to the ever so wonderful world of 3.5 Dungeons and Dragons (4.0 isn't nearly complete enough yet)
Our story will begin in or around Waterdeep, the largest politicaly powered city in D&D. We'll stick to a fairly slim list, only choosing gender, races, and classes provided by the players handbook. It would get way too complicated if we went much deeper than that.
