Intro: You are Niro, a male black cat that lives in a village. You work on a farm just outside of the village and you live with your girlfriend, Aradia.

And so we begin:

You open your eyes. The sun is shining through the window on the opposite wall. You sit up and turn to face Aradia. She's still asleep. You stroke her black fur and kiss her cheek softly. You pull your work clothes off of a hook on the wall and put them on. You brush the wrinkled out of your shirt and comb your fur lightly.

You quietly grab some bread to eat on your way out of the house.. You walk down the street, munching on the bread, passing by rows of short houses and shops. When you finish the bread, you've reached the blacksmith. You walk inside the shop to see a giant, orange cat pounding away at a small piece of glowing metal. He looks up to see you approaching him.

"Niro," he shouts cheerily, dropping his tools to greet you. He grabs you tightly around the shoulders and hauls you off the ground. "How've you been?" he asks as he lowers you to the ground.

"I've been good," you reply, shaking out your shoulders. "Do you have the ring, yet?" The blacksmith's eyes light up. "Of course," he chuckles, reaching his massive hand into a tiny pocket on his apron. He pulls out a tiny gold ring, which he hands to you gingerly. "I'm not much of a jewelry-er," laughs the blacksmith, but I reckon that's some of my best work, right there. That Aradia of yours is one lucky cat." You nod in agreement.

"Thank you," you say, clenching the warm ring in your hand. "Well," you add, kicking some dirt. "I best be heading off. And I can see you've got some work yourself."

"Sure thing, Niro," the blacksmith smiles and toddles back to his anvil. You turn to head back to the street.
