The desk is covered in a wide variety of everyday objects, a lot of them useless to you. It also has a small drawer in the side. What shall you do?

The desk is covered in stacks of paper with a few tools on top, some of which look broken. On closer examination of the piles of paper, they seem to be written in a different language, one you don't recoginise. <br>

You get up with a grunt and examine a door at random. Unlike the door that was keeping you locked in that room, this one has a handle and a lock. You stare at it for a few minutes then back off. You quickly glance at the other doors, but they all seem locked and no others have a lock or handle of any sort. If you're going to escape, it's going to have to be through this door. With no other obvious options you walk over to the desk.
