You don't know how far the thief could've gotten, you've got to find them, erection be damned!
You follow their trail, which leads off the path and into a clearing you never knew about. You look around and can't find anybody, but you see your pack leaning against a tree. You're savvy enough to know that this might be a trap. What do you do?
