Time never waits.
It delivers all equally to the same
You, who wish to safeguard the future,
' however limited it may be...
You will be given one year;
go forth without falter,
with your heart as your guide...
You stand in a purple vortex indescribable shades of purple swirl around you, yet nothing seems odd about it. In front of you is a small wooden table you are sure wasn't there when you arrived. On it is a single parchment of paper, a contract.
In your hand is a golden pen you don't remember bringing nor finding but you barely notice as your attention is completely entranced upon the paper.
"...and you will accept the full responsibility for your own actions and the consequences thereof..."
The parchment goes on at length but that one line seems, to sum up, what it is you are signing. At the bottom is a simple dotted line, awaiting your signature. You are unsure as to why but you feel that signing this will change your life irreversibly.
