You stare into the nurse's dreamy face and say, "My thingy hurts so much. Can you please kiss it and make it better?"
"I would do anything to make it better," replies the nurse, smiling.
She walks to your midsection and leans forward her slim, petite body to kiss that sorry little thing.
Your thingy became bigger until a sharp pain echos through your body.
"Ouch!" you scream.
But your thingy continues to get bigger, sending increasing pain down your spine.
"Help!" you shriek. "Help!"
The blonde nurse suddenly turns blue and rushes to the speaker.
"Room 261 Code Blue. Room 261 Code Blue," says the nurse in a frightened tone.
Just then the EKG monitor connected to your chest starts to make ringing noises. You slowly fade away.
When you wake up, you notice that you were moved to the emergency ward of the hospital. You hear talking outside your room and realize that your family and friends have come to see you. From the voices, you distinguish two girls about your age who you've known since preschool.
