On the continent of Caelifer, bordering the Burke Mountains and the Great Sea lies the small kingdom of Cylla. It was once a prosperous land; the cultural and economical stronghold of the world, spanning across the entire continent. But the king's greed and ambition lead to its downfall. Looking seaward for more land and wealth, he was blind from the kingdom's own evils: crime, poverty, hunger, corruption, and illness. The great empire collapsed within and the once great kingdom diminished into a puppet state, controlled by the influence and wealth of larger countries. It was known the Bitter Times; forty years of the coldest and hungriest winters with citizens resentful over the reminiscence of their kingdom's former glory.
But those days are long behind.
It is the Age of Hope.
A time of excitement. Good fortune is brewing.
It is the day you are born.
