You follow Borodin past the narrow aisles and down the steps to the engineering department. The heat is already beginning to make you unconscious. There, the engineer, Vasily, reports that there are problems with the caterpillar system. It needs to be shut off. Borodin tells Ramius over phone that the ship needs to stop until the caterpillar system is fixed. Ramius objects and wants to continue in the ridge using normal propulsion. If the ship runs on normal propulsion, it will not be silent.
