The whole grounds of Camp Half-Blood lay in fire and agony. The Battle of the Labrynith, as the demigods will call it in the future, was won by Kronos. Luke Castellan has brought him back to life. Kronos now is more powerful than ever and decides he doesn't want to destroy the gods yet--he wants to torture them first.

So he made "THE DEMIGOD GAMES" a fight to the death in an arena. 11 demigods, one from each cabin (only without Artemis), will be forced into the games. The winner will get to live, as well his mentor/god will. There is a reaping where all the tributes are chosen.
