This time you feel it won't be as easy as the first time. You've got three shells in the shotgun and the sword.

Three shadows appear charging in the circle of light, than five more, seven, nine, fifteen and then you stop counting because the first one is close enough for you to smell his stinking breathe.

You pull the trigger. Click. Shit... the safety. The vampire grabs you by the neck and throws you into the bushes. The last thing you see before loosing conscience is the horde submerging the cop and entering the hospital.

When you wake up it's still dark. A hot and sticky liquid is falling down your neck. Your head and your left arm hurts a lot but you're still alive. All the lights of the hospital seem to have gone out. Youu shiver in horror when you realise that all you can hear is silence. You've failed. The battle is over and your family is either dead or vampires.

Sadness overwhelms you as you start to cry. You cry for a long long time.

Eventualy you stand up. The cop's remains are laying near the entrance of the hospital. You grab his flashlight and enter the building.
