'''The cat was alive.''' While thinking of the cat, I imagined opening the box. The cat was alive, what does that even mean? When I opened the box to see it alive, I picked it up and pet it softly. I felt at peace as I rubbed it, I felt relieved, too. Like a weight had been lifted off of me. It was truly a miracle. I woke up from the day dream to see Alice flicking her fingers infront of my face. "Hello? You in there?" She chuckled and I felt less dazed to remember where I was. I was on a kinda sorta date. She thinks this is just as friends, so I can "talk" with her. Not her fault. I told her I just wanted to talk. I stared into her eyes and away quickly. I still wonder about what it ment for the cat to be "alive." I guess I'll never know. I arrive home after the, "kinda sorta" date.. I saw Cameron wave towards me, and jump down from the tree she sat in. "Hi, how was your date?" She asked. "Alright, I guess.."
