You stick the first flashlight in your pocket and grab the second one. It sticks in the charger. You pull and tug, to no avail.

The dark, cold thing wraps cold, dark arms around you. You shudder in the thing's embrace and try to scream. Your mouth is frozen shut, trapping the sound. You can sense somehow that the thing means you no harm. It does not understand that humans cannot survive the cold darkness that it brings with it.

You die, and your killer does not understand.
