You wake up with a start. You normally have nightmares, but this nightmare – one of an angel falling from heaven, and transforming into a demon, and killing humans – was a recurring nightmare. It left you with a sick feeling in your stomach. You were a demon hunter, working for the Darkness Slayers’ Guild. You were one of the best of the hunters in the world, if not the best. Angels were the greatest of beings, even stronger than dragons, and you were half angel.

You notice its late afternoon. You had some time before work. You didn’t work at night because demon came out at night – they came out whenever they wanted – but because most evil rather wait until nighttime to wreak havoc. Why? You didn’t know, you just killed them.
