When you first started this job, four or five years back, you really did not have a direction. You were a bit of a loner - not by style, but simply because you did not completely get along. You tried to talk, and were friendly enough to many others, but you could only suppose you were "off-putting" in some way. You are a tall fellow, with decent enough strength - enough to get by. You went into this job because of home ingenuity. You figured ways of exterminating slimeroaches with traps instead of having to shoot everything. It was a trade you did not invent, but you were part of the forefront. Unfortunately, your old team disbanded, despite your inventions.

Sami believes it happened because they had no drive or discipline. You suppose she might have been right - money went everywhere, and no one stayed in the job long. Still, though, Sami could use with a bit of a calm-down now and then.

She slammed her hand on the map, which jolted both you and Pila. Pila was always a nice girl. She was either staggeringly cute with her timid behavior, or incredibly smiley to whatever is on hand. You imagine her being rather slender, though honestly, you never see her out of the jumpsuit she wears.

"This is going NOWHERE." Sami says. "We have one day before they pass the job to someone else, and sitting here going over struts and holes are getting nowhere! We have a surplus of pellets! We waste the place."

You look back and forth from Pila to Sami, expecting another exchange. Being with the two's extermination team for half a year, you've learned to let them figure things out mostly themselves.

"We suit up, and we go." Sami went on, moving to her trunk to get her things. "We clear out starting on the top floor, going down. They tend to move up slower, so we will be extra sure we don't miss anything. Pila, you come up with us, stay one room behind after we are sure it is clear. Rat, you set traps on the stairs, the vents, the elevators, everything with an opening until we get to them. This is a normal run, even it is large."

You follow the orders, looking up as you are done to see Sami getting her plastic chest protector. Pila was putting hers on already - they are a bit bulky to move in, but the slimeroaches would slide right off of them. You have your own - much larger in size (it fits a bit like a sports bra), as well as your own plastic holster for your gun. You have less to put together, as your traps are already set up in your bag, so you simply wait. You see Sami bend over to grab more from her trunk, noting her incredible flat stomach, as well as the way her small chest shifted against her crop top. You were fairly sure she was not wearing a bra, but quickly looked away. Sami is all about professionalism. You can't be seen ogling at any point - that would be even worse than when you accidentally pointed your gun toward her while loading. "You know how much these sting if they hit you?" She snapped as she took it out of your hands. Even now, you shake when you lift the gun (not that you are a good shot, anyway).

"Pila, carry our extra dehydrators. Make sure you have your-"

"Own heat ray to stall them and a spare gun, I know." Pila said, though sounded wary. She likes to be prepared, and you respect that. You wish you could help out more here, but you can't.

"We go up on the scaffolding. Pila, tell Rat each location to set up the trap. Got it, mousey?"

"Y-yes!" You say, and hate yourself for being caught off guard.

"Alright. We move out."

The three of you make it up the scaffolding, and just half way up the weight of the traps in your bag get to you. You look upward, Sami being right above you, and note the way her butt shifts in her shorts as she hustles up the stairs. You shake your head out of it, and when you look back up, you see her growling back at you. You are not sure why, but at the moment, it catches you in complete embarrassment.
You enter one of the four apartments on this floor. It already looks well eaten - there are bound to be many. Pila has her scanner out, and you can begin to [[Ratemdapartmenthunt| hunt]] the slimeroaches directly here with Sami, or begin to [[Ratemdapartmenttraps| set]] up traps at the vents and drains in the apartment first.
