You gather Adam, your assistant Connie Swenson, 2, and Adam's grandmother Edith Hayes, 85, and take a airplane to Shelter 4.

Inside you meet Kyle, 18, Emily Jones, 25, Kendra Thornton, 47, Jay Thornton, 34, and Keith Morgan, 25. Together you are taken to see Overseer Harriet Dolan, 44.

"There are two castes within Shelter 4. Elites and Workers. Elites are those with a ticket or were selected to survive. The rest are Worker class"

You know that you, Adam, Connie and Edith were not selected but Connie is the only one of you without a ticket. Originally you were going to have a different assistant but she became ill and Connie was brought in at the last minute.
