The snow out here is untouched, and you can't help but admire its simplistic beauty as you sit near the window while Michael heats the water for the hot cocoa. For some reason, you think he's just straight-up offering you marshmallows. The hot cocoa has momentarily left your brain. "What, like, just to eat?"

He laughs, noticeably delighted by this. He says, "No, for your cocoa."

You also laugh, in spite of yourself, and roll your eyes. "That's the second drink talking," you say. "Told you I should've stayed with one."

Hey, you better answer his question. Do you want marshmallows?
