"Sure." He hands the bag over. "They're pretty high quality, not just cheap costume store stuff, but we get them at a huge discount because I know someone close to the manufacturer who wants us to do well."

He looks you over for a minute, "Well, I'd need to run a background check and do an interview. But all that aside, you look great. I could see you working here, yes." He says. You feel relief, validation. A few seconds of silence go by before he pipes up again. "So, who are you?"

"Okay Janet. I'm assuming I should run your info as Joseph, then?" You nod and hand him your ID so he can write down your informstion. "I'll see what I can do. I'm the general manager, but the owner of this business can still veto when I hire someone. That being said, since I have connections he needs, I may be able to pull some strings for you."
