You decide to try out for the team in hopes for your popularity to soar.

Before realizing it, you hear the cheerleading coach cry out, "number 40! Maria Armelle Cross!"

"Yes ma'am," you say to her.

"Okay, Maria. Let's see what you've got."

You've had a couple tricks up your sleeve, of course. Three years of gymnastics gave you the flexibility for every split and jump. And so you do a quick routine.

''Focus. Flip here, flip there.''

After a good minute of flipping and stunts, the coach stops her silence and stops you.

"Very good," she says. "I want you to practice with Angela, to see your teamwork skills. This is a club, but we are a cheerleading team, after all."

You see the coach pointing to a somewhat clumsy girl at the background. You think about this. You just got here, and she's already asking you to team up with someone? What if you mess up? What if it gets embarrassing? Worse, what if all this ruins your reputation?

And so you decide:
