You head toward the light, hoping against hope that you have found the help you so desperately desire. You stumble upon a small village of indigenous people, living in a patch of jungle they cleared for themselves. Their log huts are low to the ground with very slanted and thickly insulated roofs to protect the occupants from the frequents rainstorms the jungle experiences. The light you saw originated from a medium-sized fire at the center of the little circle of five huts. Two tall, sinewy men are sitting on opposite sides of the fire, guarding the little village while the rest of the village sleeps.

The men startle when they see you step out of the forest. The one with his back to you whips around with an arrow already in his bow, aiming for your heart. The other stands to his feet and aims his spear threateningly in your direction.
