You finish tying on your kelp shoes and slip-slap your way across the rocky tide pools to the sand on the other side. You see a man struggling to sit up and pull himself away from the incoming tide. He catches sight of you and calls for help again, his voice weaker than before.

As you get closer you can tell by his tattered clothes that he was a sailor. Whether he was a sailor on your ship is impossible to tell. You don't recognize him and he most likely never knew you were on board. Blood soaks the tattered blue rags clinging to the man's right side. His scruffy beard also contains traces of blood mixed with seawater. His chocolate eyes match his skin and they are now searching your face desperately for signs of compassion.
