Everything happened so quickly. First the stewardess buckled down on an empty seat, then a mild wave of panick started to spread through the plane as everyone put their mask on. The pilot tried to reassure everyone through the crackling intercom, but was cut off mid-sentence as the plane suddenly dropped, and spiralled directly downwards through the sky. Everyone were screaming, and all you can remember is clenching on to the old lady's hand before everything suddenly went dark.

Then you got extremely cold, and felt as if though all the air was running out. Instinctively kicking and waving your arms resulted in you managing to swim up to the surface, where you could catch your breath in the midnight air.

The ocean. You were in the ocean and the plane had obviously crashed in it, seeing as the lower half was pointing up amidst the violent waves that threw you back and forth. You called out as many names as possible in a desperate attempt to re-unite with any relatives, but nobody answered. The ice cold water and strong underwater currents made it impossible for you to keep your head above the surface for long, so you grabbed onto a floating shard of metal (presumably from the airplane's wing).

Despite being pitch black, you managed to see some form of smudge on the horizon. Was it an island? Regardless, it looked like it was close enough for you to swim to it, and a small chance was better than no chance.
