Seeing that she could end up in a very awkward situation in the elevator, Katie decided to ascend via the stairs. Ignoring the stairs of the random people, she followed the signs to the stairs. Katie opened the door, immediately getting chilled from the cool air of the stairwell. She stepped inside and tried to ignore the cold, looking down once she got to the rail. The stairs went down several levels down, she guessed they had to have been for maintenance and supplies.
