Examine the chessboard
From Create Your Own Story
The chessboard has polished marble squares of black and white... but there's definitely more than the usual number of squares on it. You know that chessboards should have eight squares to a side. You try to count how many squares this one has, but every time you try, you somehow lose count.
The figurines on the chessboard don't look like normal chesspieces, either. You see a lion carved from ebony on black square, an alabaster eagle on a white square, a jade heron on a green square... You rub your eyes. How did green squares get in there? The board doesn't seem to make any sense.
Do you:
- Move the ebony lion
- Move the alabaster eagle
- Move the jade heron
- Knock the chessboard onto the floor
