The woman nods, as if she understands your baby talk.
"Well, you're too precious to let go," the woman declares. "You're my baby now."
She carries you to the toddler department and dresses you up in a tiny pair of denim pants. She pays for your new clothes and takes you with her to a dingy trailer park.
"Hello, Travis," she says to the man lounging on the living room couch. "Look! We done had us a baby!"
"Damn, Tracey," the man says as he sits up and scratches himself. "When the hell did that happen?"
"Just now, while I was shopping," your new mommy says. "Here, Travis, hold yer son for a minute while I fix us some dinner."
She plops you down in the man's lap. He smells a bit... funny.
