Dr. Shine gives you a creepy grin. "If you have any more dead girls at some point, let me know. Thanks, buddy."

Dr. Shine leaves, and he has three assistants take the corpses. You contemplate where to go with your new cash. You could visit your bookie, Tommy, at his joint -- called, unimaginatively, Tom's Gambling House -- and place some bets on various sports events. A new casino specializing in card games, Richard's House of Cards, has just popped up a month ago, and you've been curious about it. Or you could pay a visit to your true underworld acquaintance, "Big" Sal Minella, who runs a series of illegal and unknown-to-the-authorities gambling endeavors from his property. He also has other things -- like loose women -- available there, and you've done business before. After you got a "loan" from Sal a few years back, you repaid it within a week and even with interest, doubled your money. Sal has often said he likes you and has actually tried to bring you into the Family a time or two...
