The octopus shimmers and its head shrinks. The tentacles change, sprouting fingers, becoming human arms lined with suction cups. The head and torso of the beast become a lovely and naked young woman with sea-green hair and full, ripe breasts. She's holding you with four arms, so you guess she probably has four legs treading water.
"What are you?" you are.
"A were-octopus," she says. "And not knowing what I am is no excuse to poop on my head!"
