"I can't live like this forever," you say. "I feel like I have to do something with my life instead of getting stuck in a rut." Annabelle nods in agreement.
Gathering up as many supplies as you can fit on the boat, you make preparations for your long journey. When you are ready, you and Annabelle look back at the island one last time. Zombies still roam up and down the shoreline. Then you start the motor and head out of Avalon harbor.
"Which direction should we go?" Annabelle asks.
"Anywhere but back east to zombie-infested L.A." you reply.
The nurse looks out at the ocean. "Yes, but where else? Is there anywhere safe from zombies?"
