Become a soldier patrolling the fence

"I'd like to help patrol the fence," you say.
"Good," says Colonel Gray. "We can always use more soldiers on the perimeter. The zombies seem to be growing more aggressive by the day."
An enlisted soldier escorts you to a guard tower on the perimeter. There, you are met by a hard-faced, muscular young man. "I'm Lieutenant Jackson," he says. "Colonel Gray radioed me about you. You'll be in my platoon." He hands you a submachine gun.
"Yes, sir," you say, taking the weapon and chambering a round.
Your next few days consist of boring routine patrols, interrupted by the occasional fast-paced battle of killing zombies that try to make it over the fence. Considering your petite, slim build compared to the much more muscular bodies of the other men and women in your platoon, you know that you'll have to work hard to impress your comrades. You hear many whispered comments about "that skinny girl" and "looks like a model."
One day, a large horde of zombies makes a massive charge against the fence. As your fellow soldiers move towards the attack, Lieutenant Jackson orders you to stay behind and cover an empty section of the perimeter in case any zombies appear there. "Yes, sir," you say reluctantly.
Bored with your official duty, hearing the sounds of battle in the distance, and annoyed that you're not able to join in, you pace back and forth, looking at the ground. Suddenly, a loud snarl makes you look up. A group of zombies have breached a hole in the fence just in front of you, and dozens of undead are already pouring into the base.
