The Ratbear is startled by your approach, but drops quickly to all fours. You will not be intimidated by an overgrown rodent. You plant your feet and ready a mighty sword-swing. At the last moment, the Ratbear leaps, all claws off the ground and ready to plunge into your body! You chop it out of the air.

You have opened a deep wound in its side. Afraid of you, it rears back, claws raised.
