This journey has been a long time in the planning. Ever since the Dane had stumbled into your hall and told his stories of a rich realm far in east, nothing else had been able to capture your attention. Even your wifes had suffered from a severe lack of attention. But it had been necessary to plan this voyage which went far beyond anything ever done before and surely would guarante you a spot close to the gods in Walhalla. You were not oblivious to the fact that you would be very lucky to even make it to your destination and you did never plan for a return in the first place.
