In such a dire situation, Serenity had to think fast. Raising her hands up defensively, she thinks of an excuse to avoid being cornered by the two men that were now creeping up on her.
"This isn't right, please, you're scaring me!" Serenity pleads as she takes a step backwards.
"C'mon babe, you could use the money, yeah?" Insisted the bald guy as he raises his voice to a high tone.
Like a slot machine running in Serenity's head, she instantly thinks of another excuse.
"You both can still walk away now. I promise that I won't tell anyone!"
"No can do sweaty." Boasts the old man. "The second we saw you, we knew that we had to have you."
"And this is how you do it, by bribing me with money?"
"Pretty much, yeah..." The bald man finalizes as he takes another step forward.
Talk was obviously wasn't going to help these fools. Serenity has to think of something else, and fast!
