Easiest place to start is in the foyer of the main building, right? Many students pass through and hang out there, making your chances to run into somebody there pretty good.
Surprisingly, though, when you get there, it's unprecedentedly vacant. You can see some students occasionally walk through it, but all the benches there are empty, save from one guy having fallen asleep on one of them. You decide to wake the poor guy up, before somebody draws on his face or something. Thanking you, he stumbles off to his next lecture, leaving you there by yourself.
You try thinking on what could've caused the place to become so barren, before a vibrant cloud of red appears in your peripheral vision. Turning around, you recognize Lucia's lush mane of hair as she enters the foyer. It seems that your plan worked anyways! Not only that, but she's alone! You wonder as well why the most popular girl in school would be alone, but your thought train is interrupted as the kitsune spots you, eyeing you with her keen, orange eyes.
You're about to say "hi" to her, though you're surprised as she approaches you instead, a slight hop in her step. "You're the human transfer student, right?", she asks you.
You blink. Why is she interested in that?, you ask yourself.
"I am.", you reply. "Why do you ask?"
"Huh?", she replies, seeming confused. "Well, you're the first human in our school! Of course I'd be curious!"
You feel dazed, now. The most popular girl in school...is interested in you?
"Funny that we met each other here after I cleared out the foyer, too.", she notes.
You're feeling more confused by the minute. This encounter wasn't going as expected at all.
