You decide that you don't want to go up against an undead Inca warlord. You have no idea how to defeat such a monster. In fact, you have no clue whether a creature like that can even be defeated.
Turning around, you make your way back to your hotel. The next morning, you head to the Cuzco airport and arrange for a flight home.
You decide to limit your adventures to skydiving, rock climbing, scuba diving, and the like. You have many wonderful vacations, but a small part of you will always wonder what would have happened if you had gone into that tunnel.
