You shift into the old priest. His name is Father Hrunting and he's more than shocked, he's horrified.

He's jumping out of his desk when you arrive. You feel his heart beat in his chest like a jackhammer. He's desperate to save Jessica from Jazz - that's the wiry woman's name. He was blessing her with the sign of the cross as you shifted into him.

While you're busy absorbing: -that Father Hrunting seems like a decent guy -that he's in terrible physical shape -that one of Jessica's teeth just bounced off his chest

...the woman you recently learned was called Jazz smashes your face in with her elbow.

You have a brief sensation of flying, followed by the strangely painless sensation of hitting the floor with the back of your head.

You hear Jazz shout "Mother-fuckers!" and hear a door slam.

Your heart is still beating a mile a minute. You can tell this because the blood pouring out of your ruined nose is flooding your windpipe. If your heart doesn't burst soon, you're going to drown.

Your blood-dimmed vision can barely make out Jessica's body. She's sprawled on her back with her head at an impossible angle.

Aw fuck.

She's got to be dead, and the priest is -

You feel yourself choking. The last sound you hear is a gurgle.

You vanish.
