Walk across the street into traffic

You take a few steps into the street. A car is about to hit you. Suddenly you hear the old man shout, "Noooo!" He pushes you out of the path of a car with all of his strength. He is not as agile as he once was, and the car smashes into him. Traffic stops. The old man is still alive, but apparently hurt badly. The motorist who hit the old man gets out of his car. The man appears to be a young athletic college student on his way to class. The college student walks over to help the old man.
