As you scroll your eyes over the words to be chanted for the spells, an ancient spirit pops out of the book. This spirit is a ghost-like figure, and his appearance spooks you. You jump back a bit with three spells stuck in your head. He points his hand at you with a haunting aura coming from him. This ghost appears to be blind as he never moves his eyes.

"It appears that you are a mighty warrior of your people. I know this based on the spells you have chosen. Your ready to risk your life for your village, aren't you? The undead horde is going to strike again with power far beyond what you saw today. The true undead horde is a force that can crush this village in a couple of seconds. If you want to be able to save them then you must come with me," the ancient spirit speaks as he opens up a portal.

The portal appears to be a glowing circle of colors. The ancient spirit waves hand to motion you as he steps towards it.

Icy Strength

Costs fifteen mana. When you are out of mana you instantly lose 30 health, and you will lose an extra 50 health if you use a spell after that. Your body becomes grey, and your hands become frozen as icy fists. The strength of your body is amplified to twice its normal strength. If this spell is used immediately after a previous use then you'll suffer a loss of twenty health, but will be at four times your normal strength.

Flaming Blade

Deadly Poison Arrow

When this arrow hits an enemy it'll cause that enemy to lose some health for preforming any intense strength actions.

I noticed that in SSR you have a separate category for all of the locations in that story. I was wondering if this is something that should be done for all non-story pages of an adventure. In my story, War of Nations, I do have a couple of spells with links that aren't related to the plot but instead explain what the spell does. Also, second question, Should I begin all of my options with War of Nations/ or is it okay to remove that part? Thirdly, how exactly do I create a category?

The disease turns you into a zombie if your life ends against your will when you are poisoned. The poison continues to burn against you, slowly draining your health. More and more zombies manage to get a few scrapes and bruises on you. The captain of the Royal Knights has now been poisoned, but the rest of your army is doing fine. The horde is attempting to surround you now.

The captain gathers everyone together to go through a secret hallway he knows of. The hallway bends as it slowly carries the army down into the depths of the underground. Eventually, it becomes nothing but rocks and dirt all around you. You have no clue where the captain's destination is, but he seems confident in where he is going. There are many other routes in this underground, and the light is getting dimmer. Nevertheless, the captain seems to be positive of his destination. Suddenly, the rocks start to make a few noises. You see a few clumps of dirt fall from the sides. It's a cave-in.

Rocks begin to fall all over the tunnels. All of the knights become separated as the rocks fall between them. You find yourself in a small side corridor with only another squire with you. You look out to discover that this corridor empties out into a giant room. The room contains a man-made area where water flows. There's water in a perfect square with four different routes leading under the walls of the room into other parts of the underground. The walls are painted green with giant pillars in the corners of the rooms. On the other side, you see a rectangular box-like shape covered with a cloth. There are candles on top of the cloth. There's also some sort of ritual circle around the worshiping spot. What kind of religious whack jobs live down here?

You shoot your own arrow at the traitor among your men. He is struck directly in the heart. It appears that any potential powers he may have had are now wasted by a lucky shot. The tactical setup manages to crush the zombies despite their number advantage. After the battle everyone gathers up again in the village. When everyone has regained their previous doings, the captain of The Royal Knights says he has an announcement to make. All of the knights and squires gather. Before you can react, two knights grab you from both sides.

"You have betrayed one of your fellow squires, and therefore you're going to rot in a prison cell, you scum," the captain says to you from on top of his mighty horse.

"He was the traitor, I was defending you by killing that man," you claim.

"Enough of your nonsense,"

The knights strip you of your equipment, and they drag you into the lower levels of the hold within your village. Their is a hallway of cells along the walls. They toss you into one of them, and they lock the sliding cage door behind you. You turn around at them feeling as though you're the one who's been betrayed.

After a few hours in the prison cell, you decide to get some sleep. In the middle of the night, a man in a mysterious black robe wakes you up. He is outside the prison cell, and he says he wants to thank you by releasing you from the cell and bringing you back into his society of demon slayers. You stare back wondering what anything had to do with demons. A dwarf figure also walks down the hallway and consults you. The dwarf says that he saw the events that actually occurred, and he'd like to take you back to live among his people in the mines.

"Why aren't your people running?" you ask

"'cause goblins can't turn into zombies, sonny," the goblin says with a look of death in his eyes.

You see a few flashes of something moving. Blood spurts out from the back of the goblin's neck. The goblin falls over lifeless. A man in assassin clothing is standing behind him with a knife covered in blood gripped in his hands.

"You're pretty smart kid. Want a job with us?"

"So what exactly is this magic?" you ask.

"Well, the reason that The Great Pond gives us this magic is unknown, however, we know that it allows us to control the earth around us. Our people have always been grateful to this planet for giving us our home and resources. There is an ancient god who gives us these powers. Our god is known as Gaia, and he gave birth to this world. We mainly use the magic he gave us through The Great Pond for fighting off trolls and mining into the depths of this world. Legends say that if we dig deep enough we can discover the realm where the world is purest. This pure realm is the ancient city of the gods, which is where we plan to live in harmony when we reach it," George explains.

You look at the dwarf as you ponder about all the different beliefs among the nations in this world. In your own nation, your people don't use gods for explanations, but they use the limited science and technology they have to try to explain things. However, there are many unexplainable things in the world right now such as the existence of stars. Perhaps these dwarfs might just find an ancient city in this old planet.

"Oh, I almost forgot," said George "follow me so I can show you how to use the magic that The Great Pond gave you."

You follow George's movements down a couple of winding tunnels. You have a decent sense of direction so you know your way back. You see a large room with a few dwarfs practicing magic by levitating large boulders. George points to one of the smaller boulders, about the size of your chest. You know what he is asking without words. You see that the other dwarfs simply extend their arms to control their boulders. You extend your arms, and you try to access energy with yourself. It comes almost naturally as you levitate the boulder up into the air. The rock is levitating roughly five feet above the ground with your magic. You practice this for ten minutes before you hear a siren going off. You drop the rock, and you turn to George.

"The trolls are attacking," George says.

Each and every one of them kneels before you as their new leader. You make a quick end to their painful lives with your sword. The knights are all able to fall over peacefully. You give all eight of the fallen knights a proper burial on the lands they died defending. Afterward, you look at your knights with a newly found position among them. It was almost decided from the moment you entered this army that the torch would be passed to you. You wish you could talk to the captain to figure out why this happened the way it did, but that is impossible. So, what shall you tell The Royal Knights now.

You practically shine as a new leader among the knights as you give them the boost they need to fight this seemingly impossible force in front of you. The knights and squires are all ready to die to stop this dark force of the undead. The demonic traitor begins to shoot out several bolts of dark energy from his staff as your knights near him. Several of the warriors fall over from the harmful bolts. You strike your sword valiantly through the traitor as he attempts to fire another round of dark energy. It fails though as he falls over from a series of several of the other swords and blades striking him. You turn around to see about seven knights that are heavily wounded. They say that the poison has reinfected them, and that they are on their last few minutes of life. Your knights looks to you as their leader.

You give a few shouts as you place yourself in front of the sleeping captain. You have your shield in front of you, ready to block. The attacker is a traitor from within your own army. He sees that people are waking up now as he wickedly holds his dagger near the captain, who appears to be quite a heavy sleeper. The knights begin to grab there swords to threaten the traitor and demand his reasoning. However, the traitor rises into the sky almost magically. His heart appears to be being pulled as his back hunches over. Some green gases form around him, as the traitor squire transforms.

"The undead horde will conquer all!"

Then, the traitor turns into a tall demonic skeleton with a demented robe. He has some sort of a golden staff with a green gem on top of it. He falls to the ground causing a wave that sends the army back several yards. The green gem begins to glow, and your army feels the poison inside them impulse. The gem cleaned out the poison, but it dealt some critical damage to your army's health. He then stabs his rod straight into the captain's resting skull.

You grasp a hold of the new sword to discover it weighs a lot. You attempt to preform a practice swing, and you discover that it's going to be hard to use. You put your shield away, and you use both of your hands to wield it. You can comfortably swing it this way. You sheath the blade on your back, and you walk out of the store. The captain has returned with the rest of the Royal Knights. He begins a training session with the other knights. Afterward, you get a full night of rest. You feel like you can swing the sword easier as you awake the next morning. However, wielding it with two hands is still much hastier. Your captain gathers all the knights, and he says that the zombie army is charging with its full force, not just from the lake. They rose from the ground after the events at the village. You group up with the stronghold's knights, and you set up a defense. You are to fight in the front lines now.

You begin to practice your skills with a blade as one of the higher ranked knights gives orders to all of the squires. The training lasts all day, and it physically drains you. After such a long day of training you need some rest. In the morning, you feel stronger as one of the other squires consults you. He says that a mission has been ordered to attack a goblin bandit camp outside the village, however, he also claims that the higher ranked knights have been experimenting with dark magic in the castle. He says he wants you to go with him to destroy the books they've been using to practice this.

Your villagers need you, so you grasp a sword from the supplies that have been brought down to fight with. You join the other knights who all have horses. You feel a bit left out in this sense, but you have no time for sorrow as the horde reaches your small army. The zombies appear to be spraying some sort of acid onto your warriors. This acid's purpose is unknown as your knights are managing to use their shields to deflect it. However, you don't have any protection against it. Perhaps it is luck that gets you to avoid this poisonous acid most of the time. There are a few sprays that burn your skin but do not send poison into you. Eventually, after a few casualties, your small village has proved themselves victorious. Your village regroups everyone that fled as you've captured victory in this battle. Several of the knights are having a funeral for the fallen soldiers to the zombie force. You did not know the knights that well despite the small size of your village. You decide to rest for a day as the village gets back on its feet. In the morning, the captain of the Royal Knights, the warriors of your village, offers you a job as one of the squires.

You suffer several wounds as you charge in selflessly to defend the captain of the Royal Knights. The Royal Knights are the defenders of your home and you need them now more than anything. You have your back pressed to the captain as he silently thanks you. A bunch of acid manages to poison you as you fight against the horde. Your village manages to fight back the army after a long fight, and they also put out the flames. The acid on the captain and you has an effect that slowly drains away your health. When you die unwillingly to the disease you'll become a zombie and possibly turn against your village. The captain says that he needs you to journey with him in search of a cure. There's an old wizard a bit to the east that you two can journey to.

The captain's name is David and he supplies you with a horse to ride. You mount the horse and ride out of the village with him. As you are traveling to the poison's cure's location, a few arrows sling by David and you. You stop and turn around to see that a gang of goblins are attacking you.

You decide now that, despite your previous cowardliness, you are going to charge forward and help your villagers. As you arrive in the village you see that zombies are burning the buildings. They have the last few defenders of your village surrounded. The undead horde is clawing away at your past life as you sit back watching terrorized. You don't want to be the coward who ran so you try to fight. You bash several of the zombies with your fishing rod. The zombies have such weak bones that some of their heads even fall off from a full swing of your fishing rod. Eventually, the rod breaks as the zombies attack you. You feel a few tears in your skin as you are now defenseless. You throw your fishing bait to the side to distract the zombies. The undead army surrounds the fishing bait digging after it. Now that they're distracted you have a choice to make that might just determine your life.

After you've taken a glance at the war about to occur, you decide that perhaps this nation isn't the place where you belong anymore. Several country's here in the Eastern Continent are at war, but you know that there is still hope towards the west. Far across the sea to the west there are rumors that elves reside on a place called the Western Continent. Whether they actually do or not is a total mystery though. You begin walking west away from the fighting, away from the violence, away from the crusades. You're ready to become a new person in a new world.

You journey for three days. You feel like you have more stamina after the journey. You've arrived in a port town. There are many wooden ships coming in and out. Most of the trades happen between the Eastern Continent and the Northern Continent. You see that the streets of this town are very busy as you arrive. People are carrying crates full of goods to be shipped or bought and there are plenty of people trying to sell their goods. Overhearing some of the merchant talk, you notice that a man lost his fishing rod and will purchase one for 20 gold. You could use that twenty gold for an item of self defense in case you ever needed it. There are also some people offering jobs around town. There are just so many options in this town.

You join your village's defense as an archer. You grab an extra bow lying around from the supplies being rushed out. You split a set of arrows with one of the squires in the trees. You proceed to fire ten arrows into the hearts of the undead fiends. In all reality though, you are firing at the location of where their hearts should be. These undead creatures have no need for any humanly organs or tissues. Your knights seem to be doing fine as the arrow support nails any zombie that is witty enough to even get an attempt at a successful slice. The Royal Knights, the knights of your village, manage to shove the army back to where it came from. The captain of The Royal Knights consults you about joining the Royal Knights due to your excellent marksmanship.

You ask for one of the stronger spells. The shop owner goes to the back of the store, and he brings back a box. Inside the box is a large assortment of scrolls and potions. He pulls out one of the scrolls. He flashes it open in front of your face.

"Are you sure?" he asks.

You shake your head yes as he begins to course energy through his fingers. His hands glow a bright yellow as the same glow flows into the opened scroll. A circular symbol reveals itself on the scroll. Some foreign language of symbols begins to rush through your mind. You fall to your knees and place your hands on your head. The magical energy is giving you quite a headache. Eventually, the magic rush stops, and a pile of ash falls next to you.

"I implanted the spell into your body," the shop owner says.

You take a breath and look at your hands. They each have symbols on them like tattoos on their backsides. You stare at them as you see black lines on the symbols go up each of your fingers. You turn to the shop owner.

"When the time is right, you'll know how to use the magic."

You begin to snoop around the back area of the nation's stronghold. The stronghold is a rather large place, and there are guards all over the place. You begin to see less and less guards as you get into the poorer side of town. Here you start to see people running around in groups and gangs. You pick up on a few things such as the king isn't treating them fairly, and that they are going to revolt. These are the kinds of people that have resorted to thievery and murder to begin to get their way. A man with a slang tone of voice approaches you. He says that he has a job only a fine-looking person can do. He wants you to get inside the castle and place poison inside the king's dinner. You know that the zombie horde could attack the city soon, but this city is ready to revolt. The man shows you the payment of 500 gold. You've normally eaten 5 gold dinners before these events, therefore, that amount is quite a reward.

You scurry up one of the trees in an attempt to hide from the vicious zombies. The undead army surrounds your tree and begins to climb it themselves. You rapidly fire arrows downwards. After several downpours of arrows they begin to back off. You peck them off with your arrows as they cover up The Fallen Captain. The captain then manages to shoot out a bolt of green energy towards you. You panic and fall off the tree, twisting your ankle. The zombies begin a charge after you as you defend yourself with arrows. As they get closer you resort to swinging your sword madly. They manage to knock your shield out of your hands. You eventually slay all of the zombies except for The Fallen Captain. He simply stares you down as you scurry to grab your shield. He destroys the shield with his magic. The Fallen Captain gives you a terrorizing stare. You begin to cower in fear. He raises his sword, and he points it back down at your throat. He then decides to spit some sort of acid onto you. You feel a painful burn as he stabs your neck. Things are suddenly dark as you fade away. Suddenly, you rise as an undead next to The Fallen Captain.

You yell out "Hello. Upon doing so you begin to hear a few footsteps. Some are soft and some of the footsteps are loud. As you wait for them you fell some sort of energy from the water soaking into you. You almost feel like you'll overdose on this energy as creatures from the first three corridors arrive. From the first corridor you see a small party of dwarves armed with battle axes gasping at you. From the other two corridors, you see two 12 foot trolls with dark grey skin. They seem angry at you and begin to charge. The dwarves say you've gained intense magic for resting in the water this long as a human. They tell you to get out or be consumed. You test this magic, and you manage to shoot out an energy that lights up the room.

You pick the last of the four corridors to venture down. On your way you discover that the lights are getting brighter. This is a way out of the cave you had discovered before. You are now in the forest, but you look to the sides to see two groups of creatures. To the far left beyond the trees, you can see glimpses of a goblin bandit camp. The goblins have captured the villagers of your nation as hostages. To the far right, you see a zombie army going back to its camp. Among the undead horde, you recognize the all of the warriors of your village walking as zombies.

The dwarf is about 3 feet tall and seemed to have only died a few days ago. You gulp at the sight of the blood. He's so horrible to look at that you vomit to the side. Shortly after you begin feeling sick, you hear the footsteps of something big. It's coming at a fast rate and you're feeling horrible. You grab an axe that the dwarf was carrying along with some sort of green potion in a vial. You look ahead to see a giant 12 foot creature with dark grey skin. He is incredibly muscular as he is investigating what caused the smell of the vomit. He sees you and lets out a roar.

You venture down the third corridor after landing in the water. You look on the walls to discover blood splattered about. A few steps ahead you see a small dwarf's body covered in blood. The dwarf is about 3 feet tall and seemed to have only died a few days ago. You gulp at the sight of the blood. He's so horrible to look at that you vomit to the side. Shortly after you begin feeling sick, you hear the footsteps of something big. It's coming at a fast rate and you're feeling horrible. You grab an axe that the dwarf was carrying along with some sort of green potion in a vial. You look ahead to see a giant 12 foot creature with dark grey skin. He is incredibly muscular as he is investigating what caused the smell of the vomit. He sees you and lets out a roar.

You decide to go down the second corridor of the four you've seen. As you walk around the lighitng gets dimmer and dimmer. Suddenly, you hear a tremendous roar. From the shadows comes a terrible monster. This monster is at least 12 foot tall and is rather muscular. It has incredible muscular strength. Its skin is a dark grey that is rather wrinkled. The beast has a round face with mighty fangs. His eyes are blood red as he stares you down. This creature is a troll. The troll reaches his hand out for you violently. You jump back as he stumbles a bit.

You choose to run with your villagers away from the evil army. You see that the Royal Knights of your village have begun battle. They appear to be doing well as you move with the town. After a long run, you've made it roughly 3 miles. The stronghold of the city lies 5 miles ahead. There are children within your group to worry about as you make rest near a river. You hear a few noises as you rest. Suddenly, a group of goblin bandits emerges from the trees. They shoot arrows with nets to pin villagers to trees. Their ambush is successful as they steal all of the equipment and items that your village has. They say that they want three of you as hostages. The goblins choose you and two of the children. Why they chose it that way, you do not know. The ugly, green, short creatures shove the three of you into a large body bag. However, this bag is for captured prisoners.

You arrive at the goblin camp where you're put into a cage with the other two. The goblins have you in a dark room where you can hardly see. One of the goblins comes in and takes the children away. After a few minutes he returns without the children to ask you a question. Do you want to be mutated into a goblin and work for them or being used as a hostage so they can get the best out of your people.

You decide to go with the other squire and recover the spellbook. With the zombie army approaching you quickly grab an old-looking book. You flip through and see some chants and pictures. The army is fleeing with the villagers and the squire that was with you is about to get mauled. You begin to chant from one of the pages. The chant sends a fiery rain down upon the undead army. The other squire is burned heavily. You feel your insides being drained from the powerful magic. After the [[Rain of Fire]], you fall onto your knees. The undead army is retreating due to the lack of purpose in suicide. You limp over to the other squire. He says that he won't be able to live for much longer. He says he got the book from a magician hiding in the woods far to the east.

With the captain gone, you have to time to shop around. You want more armor on your back so you visit the Armor Shop. The owner of the shop offers you two different sets of armor for the war ahead. The iron set is magical, can absorb poison, and can deflect magic. The steel set is heavy and more resistant to physical attacks. It will weigh you down but you have much more resistance to what really matters.

With this being possibly your only time to shop before full out war breaks loose, you decide to visit the weapon shop. The shopkeeper offers you one of the Capital City's blades to aid you in the war. This blade is made out of a much stronger metal, but is very heavy and you won't be able to swing it swiftly and normally until you're level 5.
