D&D: Dress for performance

Slythyr:

You would usually only wear this to special functions, but feeling festive, you decide that you would like to look fantastic today.

Gold trousers, blue and gold tunic, blue shoes, and lastly, your head ribbon, tied at the back, with the ends lying loosely behind your back.
Not only does it look good, but it means you can wear your hair loose without it falling across your face.

Looking at yourself in the mirror, you feel fit to perform.

You glance at your father's ring...
It goes well with your outfit, but is it worth tempting robbery?

You would usually only wear this to special functions, but feeling festive, you decide that you would like to look fantastic today.

Gold trousers, blue and gold tunic, blue shoes, and lastly, your head ribbon. You glance at your father's ring, but is it worth tempting robbery?

Slythyr:

The faceted stone shines red in the light. The ring itself has the appearance of entwined golden vines.
You place it on your thumb, feeling it's metallic coldness, thinking that it was once worn by your father.

He is long departed, but when you feel this ring, you can almost feel a connection to him. Shaking your head at the silliness of such sentimentality, you lovingly return the ring to its resting place.
You only wear it for performance before dignitaries; it is far too precious to wear carelessly.

Your performer's tunic is neatly folded. You take a moment to appreciate the rich blue colour, and the stylized dragons which are embroidered with gold thread. You imagine that the embroidery must have taken many hours to complete. A fine outfit for performer!
Beneath it is a pair of gold-coloured baggy trousers, to match the tunic, and a pair of pointed blue shoes.

You know that beneath the outfit are several items stowed for safe keeping: a change of clothes, extra money, a ruby ring, and carefully wrapped lute strings.
