You get up from the chair and walk into your mother's bedroom. She's still sleeping but you notice her eyes are slightly open. You walk up to her and whisper nicely, "Jon is coming over for a bit. Okay, Mom?" She nods a little and happily mumbles something not understandable. You turn around and walk out to the door and notice Jon walking up to the door.

You open the door before he can ring the doorbell and greet him. You and Jon go out to the backyard with your camcorder. Jon looks over at you and asks a good question,

"So, what kind of video do you wanna make?"

You pick up the phone and call Jon, your best friend since pre-school. You hear the familiar click of the phone being picked up and you hear Jon's mother on the other end, "Hello? Is this Rodney?" She asks. You nod involuntarily and say, "Yeah," to her. She tells you she's going to get Jon.

Jon comes to the phone moments after his mom leaves, "Hello?" He asks. You tell him about your video idea and you can tell he's smiling, "Be right over," He says and hangs up the phone. Jon lives three streets down so you have about half an hour before he gets here.

What do you do?

Welcome to Death Combat Royale! The ultimate fighting tournament to decide who is the greatest fighter! We have invited all of the best fighters in the known world! They will all fight in a deadly battle in different environments. 30 people will be competing, all very strong. The last person standing alive is the winner and receives a special prize!

Before we begin, it's time to explain the rules:

1. There will be 10 different settings that will be changed from one to another at exactly midnight.

2. There is a chip we've implanted in all of the contestants ears that reads whether they are alive or not.

3. All of the staff have a direct link to several speakers and cameras hidden throughout the islands.

4. Each contestant will be given a knapsack with 4 things in it: A trap set, a weapon, food and water, and a special item that may or may not help.

5. Going into the marsh in the third environment is forbidden.

Now that we've established the rules, who are you, contestant?

Male

*[[Stan McWar: A young man who works as a lawyer in Mississippi. He has a sharp sense of sight and runs quickly. Not too strong but can beat a grown man to the ground with enough motivation.]]

*[[Bruce Phillips: A strong bruiser who formerly was a part of WWE. He was lesser known to the public because his size would get the viewers less interested in the other wrestlers. He can break a man's head with his leg.]]
*[[Troy Cauldron: A young fighter who is top student in his gym class. He entered this competition purely to win. He is here with his girlfriend, Kate Maris. He can punch a man unconscious but is more skilled with weaponry.]]
*[[Tim Foster: A kind gentle boy with a mind of intellectual advances. He usually is against violence until he gets a gun. His father was in the war and he was assassinated the day he returned home from Iraq.]]

You look at the knapsack, the host, then the knapsack again. You shrug and walk into the forest environment. You take the time to notice the pureness of the forest before it becomes a war zone.

You, Martha, and Kate all walk into the deep forest and see a campfire and moving shadows.

"Duck, quickly!" Martha whispers.

The three of you hide behind a big rock and look at at the people. You see a boy holding a shotgun with black hair that blows back and an average figure and two girls. One has brown hair and the other has black hair and a black spandex suit that shows off her body. The brown-haired girl has a rich looking outfit on and a rather large gun with her.

"Uh oh. That boy is my boyfriend. He promised to make the game fair and that if he ever saw me he would treat me like any other contestant." Kate says.

"Well, who are those others?" You ask.

Kate shrugs and Martha begins. "The girl in spandex is some agent from the CIA sent here to kill one of the contestants. I think her name is Mary Jones." She informs. "The other girl is Trisha Simone. We were friends back in middle school. She's really rich and a bit of a snob." Her nose wrinkles as she says snob.

Kate looks at you, fear surrounding her. "What do we do, Stan?"

You ignore the two people and venture up to Ricky. About 5 meters from him, you find out that it's not Ricky that was waving at you. It is Sid Terris, a contestant with a sneaky attitude. He pulls a shotgun from his silky black trench coat and aims it at you. Before you can even think about dodging it, two girls (You know them as Martha Beverly and Kate Maris) jump out of the forest and shoot and stab Sid to death. While they are doing this, you notice Ricky's body lying dead on the grass.

Welcome to Death Combat Royale! The ultimate fighting tournament to decide who is the greatest fighter! We have invited all of the best fighters in the known world! They will all fight in a deadly battle in different environments. 30 people will be competing, all very strong. The last person standing alive is the winner and receives a special prize!

Before we begin, it's time to explain the rules:
1. There will be 10 different settings that will be changed from one to another at exactly midnight.
2. There is a chip we've implanted in all of the contestants ears that reads whether they are alive or not.
3. All of the staff have a direct link to several speakers and cameras hidden throughout the islands.
4. Each contestant will be given a knapsack with 4 things in it: A trap set, a weapon, food and water, and a special item that may or may not help.
5. Going into the marsh in the third environment is forbidden.

Now that we've established the rules, who are you, contestant?

*[[Troy Cauldron: A young fighter who is top student in his gym class. HE entered this competition purely to win. HE is here with his girlfriend, Kate Maris. He can punch a man unconscious but is more skilled with weaponry.]]

People have a tendency to create branches where the character dies. To prevent the story from being just a tree with all dead ends:
*For each page where you kill the player's character, you must create at least 2 pages (with content) where s/he can go on.
*Please stick to the theme and setting of the story, and discuss ideas for major changes on the discussion pages. Although creativity is encouraged, radical plot changes and inconsistencies will ruin the flow.
*If something is off topic, remove it.
*Try to capitalize and spell your words correctly.
