Geodude uses Rock Throw which knocks Pikachu out too. Finally you send out Charmander, who dodges Rock Throw and knocks Geodude out with Scratch, but then Brock sends out Onix! Onix uses Rock Throw and knocks out Charmander.

You run to the Pokemon centre and heal your three Pokemon, you all want to return to Pewter gym and fight again.

You keep fighting with Kakuna, using bug bite, but, Onix uses Rage which Knocks Kakuna out cold.

Time to send out Pikachu. Pikachu uses a Thunderbolt, but, it doesn't seem to do much Onix uses another Rage and it Knocks Pikachu out.

Pikachu charges up and unleashes a Thunderbolt, but, Kakuna countinues, with a bug bite. Pikachu uses tail whip, but, Kakuna uses bug bite again, Pikachu is quite weak now, you throw a Pokeball and... You caught Pikachu!

You add Pikachu to your Pokemon and carry on towards Pewter. You arrive and heal your Pokemon, you look at Pikachu how is already fast friends with your other two Pokemon. You look around Pewter to see what there is to do. There's not much to do, there is a dusty old museum, that looks run down and far too expensive, or there's Pewter's rock gym, but, with a fire and electric type against Rock that might not be a brilliant idea. So, maybe you should just carry on.

You chuckle as your mother backs off slowly, "Relax little guy," you say as you stroke its head. When it has calmed down you return it to its Pokeball with the nifty little button.

"HOW COOL IS IT!?" you shout at your mother in hysterics.

"It's cute but... scary at the same time," she stutters. You just laugh as you enter the house. "So you're staying?" your mother queries hopefully, following you about.

You panic and send out Pidgey. Pidgey uses San Attack, Victreebel can't see Pidgey with all that San in it's eyes. Pidgey continues to use Sand attack and Gust until Victreebel faints.

You decide to ignore Flynn's threats and carry on like a true hero, you finally reach Pewter city with no incidents at all, you walk up to a small boy and ask him if he knows where you can find Olivia, he points to a poster, it shows a tall teenage girl with long green hair, she seems to have recently won a Pokemon beauty contest.

That is when you see here exiting the main hall, holding a gold trophy and with paparazzi following her, you decide to tag along, posing as a news reporter, you follow here, soon all the others die away and it's just you and Olivia. That is when you see here exiting the main hall, holding a gold trophy and with paparazzi following her, you decide to tag along, posing as a news reporter, you follow here, soon all the others die away and it's just you and Olivia. "So, Olivia, what do you say to the rumours that you are part of the illegal group, the Slave Traders."

"It's all lies." Olivia said.

"I don't believe that, I had a word with Ernie." You say.

Pokemon: Switch to Charmander

Flynn sends out Venonat and you switch Bulbasaur out for Charmander. Charmander uses Ember, Venonat uses confusion, Charmander starts to hurt himself, but, he manages to snap out of it and attack Venonat with another ember, Venonat faints.

"Ha! I won!" You declare.

Flynn grins and says; "Yes you won you fool, but, only because I went easy, I had to test your power to see if you were really any match for me and I don't see you as a threat."

You are about to grab him when he sends out an Arbok, it smashes you and Charmander around the head with it's tail and both of you black out.

You wake up in Viridian Pokemon centre, it turns out Pikachu dragged you and Charmander there with Squirtle and Pidgey. All your Pokemon have been fully healed, but, you think about the strength of Flynn's Arbok, maybe he was right, what if you're not ready to fight the Slave Traders?

Pokemon: Try to Capture the Sleeping Bulbasaur

You throw a Pokeball and... the Bulbasaur was caught!

"Hurry up!" Ernie shouts from the tunnel.

You rush inside and start searching, you see countless Geodude, but, Squirtle keeps them at bay. "Can we stop and try to catch one?" You ask.

"No," Ernie says, "I'd rather find Charmander as soon as possible."

Eventually you come to a junction, Ernie passes you a walkie talkie and Pikachu lights the way with electricity. "Tell me if you find anything and don't get lost." Ernie says.

You trudge through the gloomy caves for what seems like hours and eventually you see a dim light, you and Pikachu rush over to the little Charmander. He is weak and needs help fast. "Ernie," You say through the walkie talkie, "I've found Charmander, but, he's in a bad way. He needs help."

"Oh no!" Ernie cries out, "I think I'm miles away, you've got to help him, try to get him outside, I'll meet you there."

You panic what can you do to save the little Charmander's live, then you look in your bag and find out that Bulbasaur had been carrying a berry when you caught him. You feed Charmander the berry and already the little fire lizard looks much better, able to walk again you and Pikachu lead him out.

It is dark by the time you make it outside and Ernie still hasn't arrived. You set up camp and start to cook dinner for yourself, Charmander and your three Pokemon.

Ernie finally arrived during the night, "How is he?" Ernie asked.

"I found a berry and it made him better, all he needed was a proper meal." You explain.

Ernie sighed, noticing Charmander cuddled up asleep next to Squirtle and Bulbasaur.

"I was inconsiderate and foolish, he deserves to have a good owner like you." ernie stated aloud.

"Really?" You ask.

"Yes, you can have my Charmander." Ernie said.

The next day you and Ernie went your seperate ways, he headed off to Pallet Town, while you went towards Viridian and Pewter in search of Olivia. "Good luck." Was all Ernie said.

As you leave you spot a Pidgey.

Your happiness is short lived when you feel the bridge starting to collapse. You grab Pikachu and Squirtle and dash across the bridge as it falls into the fast-running river below you, you can see you're not going to make it in time, you're falling! This is the End!

But, suddenly a hand grabs you and pulls you and your Pokemon onto dry land. You look up to see a tall man a few years older than you with spiky red hair, you recognise him as Ernie a member of the Slave Traders! You prepare to release Pikachu onto your saviour, but, instead the yellow pokemon rushes up and gives Ernie a hug. "What!" You exclaim, "But, I thought Pikachu hated the Slave Traders."

"He does," Ernie explains, "so do I. I left them and I freed a load of Pokemon and gave them to Professor Oak for safekeeping. Pikachu was one of the Pokemon I saved."

"Do you know where I could find the Slave Traders? me and Pikachu are trying to bring them to justice." You say.

He smiles at you and say, "There were five main Slave Traders, each of us had a Pokemon type, a bit like gymleaders. I was in charge of fire, Olivia was in charge of grass types, Thomas was in charge of Water types, Rodger was in charge of flying and electric and our evil leader; Flynn was the boss of all poisonous types. You're a pretty good trainer, but, you can't beat them, I think you'll need me to train you."

Pikachu looks confused that you are helping him, but, he smiles and nods anyway. "Very well then, lead the way." You say.
Pikachu dashes off, making sure you can keep up, you arrive at a bridge, it is very rickety and looks usafe, but, you cross anyway, a splash can be heard from below and a Pokemon jumps up onto the bridge, it's a Squirtle!

This is a rare oppurtunity, but, a fight could break the bridge.

Chase after Pikachu

You chase after your nasty little electric friend and grab him before he gets away, he tries to shock you, but, you were wearing the rubber gloves. "What's the matter, why don't you like me?" You ask.

Pikachu grumbles and crosses his arms, scowling. "Come on, you can tell me why you don't trust people?" You say, hoping Pikachu will trust you.

Pikachu seems to sigh, you notice a scar on his ear. "Where'd you get that?"

But, even if Pikachu could speak, he doesn't need to awnser, you recognise the shape of the scar from the news, the Slave Traders!
They would capture pokemon and torture them into becoming stronger, cutting their signature scar on the back of the Pokemon's ear. Then they'd sell them to the highest bidder, Prof. Oak must have liberated this Pikachu from a Slave Trader auction.

"I that's why you don't trust most humans right?" You ask. Pikachu nods, perking up.

"Don't worry, I'm not like those nasty people, I'll look after you." You explain. Pikachu smiles.

"So, do you still want to leave?" You ask, Pikachu shakes his head, and loyally stands by your side.

Tie Pikachu to a rope and drag him down the street

You take your rubber gloves out of your backpack and a rope. You hated to do this but Pikachu wasn't leaving you much choice. And without him you couldn't start your journey. You put the rubber gloves on and held Pikachu down on the floor as you tied the rope around him. He didn't like this one bit and released a lot of Thundershocks, which of course couldn't hurt you as you were wearing rubber gloves. You then said bye to the Professor and left, dragging Pikachu down the road. A lot of people stared at you thinking it was funny that you had to drag your Pokemon around like that. You dragged Pikachu all the way out to Route 1. You then stopped and leaned down to talk to him. "Come on, Pikachu. Can't we just get along?" you begged. But by now Pikachu was so annoyed and humiliated that he wouldn't even answer you. Just then a wild Pidgey appeared. What will you do?

Bulbasaur used his powerful Takedown, Grimer used Sludge and hit your pokemon with a critical hit! Bulbasaur used Takedown again, this knocked Grimer out, but, Bulbasaur was poisoned. This starts to affect his health.

It's obvious that Bulbasaur is your powerhouse, but, he is getting weaker, do you want to trade him out for Charmander?

Pokemon: Fight and try to capture the Squirtle

You nervously order Pikachu to use a Thunderbolt on Squirtle, Squirtle retaliates with a Water Gun, but, it merely tickles Pikachu. Pikachu grins. You throw a Pokeball and... You capture Squirtle!

Your happiness is short lived when you feel the bridge starting to collapse. You grab Pikachu and Squirtle and dash across the bridge as it falls into the fast-running river below you, you can see you're not going to make it in time, you're falling! This is the End!

But, suddenly a hand grabs you and pulls you and your Pokemon onto dry land. You look up to see a tall man a few years older than you with spiky red hair, you recognise him as Ernie a member of the Slave Traders! You prepare to release Pikachu onto your saviour, but, instead the yellow pokemon rushes up and gives Ernie a hug. "What!" You exclaim, "But, I thought Pikachu hated the Slave Traders."

"He does," Ernie explains, "so do I. I left them and I freed a load of Pokemon and gave them to Professor Oak for safekeeping. Pikachu was one of the Pokemon I saved."

"Do you know where I could find the Slave Traders? me and Pikachu are trying to bring them to justice." You say.

He smiles at you and say, "There were five main Slave Traders, each of us had a Pokemon type, a bit like gymleaders. I was in charge of fire, Olivia was in charge of grass types, Thomas was in charge of Water types, Rodger was in charge of flying and electric and our evil leader; Flynn was the boss of all poisonous types. You're a pretty good trainer, but, you can't beat them, I think you'll need me to train you."

"I think I can handle them actually." You say.

"Really?" Ernie chuckles, "Very well, I challenge you to a battle."

"Challenge accepted." You say.

He sends out Growlithe and you send out Squirtle. Growlithe uses Bite.
