You approach the bench and pick up the pokeball with Bulbasaur. Next up Blue walks up casually and picks up Charmander. Next Green picks Squirtle, exhausted with options. Yellow turns to the professor and gives a sad look. "What about me?" The professor turns to a far cabininent and reaches in for a dusty pokeball.

"This is all I have left." He tosses it to yellow, who catches it in her hands. "Be careful though, that one is an unstable one!" She smiles and rubs it against her face. "I will take good care of it!"

"Now," He says walking back in front of you four, "With these pokemon begin the next saga your life! Become great Pokemon trainers!" He nods folds his hands behind his back and disappears into another room. The group splits up, everyone leaving to do their thing. You are standing outside the entrance of the lab in Pallet Town. What next?
