At the sound of your name being called, you reflexively turn to look at your friends. There's a crowd between you and them, so they may not have seen your "outfit" yet. You have an instinct to run, to hide. Get away before they can see that you're naked.
They start walking towards you and you feel your nerves begin to break. But you steel yourself and remain in place as they get closer. Your heart races as they get closer, you know you're almost past the point of no return. Every part of your brain is screaming for you to run to your towel and wrap up. But some small part of you is in control now. And it wants you to be seen.
Finally, your decision is removed from you as the crowd moves to the chairs, removing the obstacle between you and them. They all stop walking and freeze in place as they see you clear as day, fully naked at the public pool. Angel quickly runs over to you and puts her arms up, as if to block the view for everyone else. She whisper-shouts to you, "Girl, what happened to your bikini!? Do you realize you lost it!? You're fucking naked!"
Do you pretend you didn't notice and quickly go wrap up with a towel? You potentially have an excuse to keep your reputation intact. Do you pretend you didn't notice but remain exposed? You could feign ignorance but still get some exposure. Do you admit you knew and quickly go wrap up with a towel? No sense in lying, but it's suddenly too embarrassing to bear.
