"There is a simple explanation for this, Kir." You explain how you got hold of the panties and you just forgot to give them to her. Kirsten looks doubtful.
"That's a lame excuse, Will."
"It is no excuse, it's the truth."
You have to argue for a long time until you can convince Kirsten you didn't plan anything weird with her underwear. It ends with a lecture about the do's and don'ts about a girl's clothes (there are far more don'ts than do's, especially when it comes to underwear). You are relieved when Kirsten lets you off the hook. Time to leave the day behind.
