You love your house. It's perfect. Big and roomy, cool in summer, warm in winter, modern kitchen, great location - the works! And it came cheap.
Of course, the reason it was cheap is because of the ghoul in the basement. Apparently it's been there for longer than anyone remembers, and the house is technically in his name. The deal is, he stays in the basement and doesn't bother you, and you provide him with fresh meat to eat once a week or so. And occasionally, help him satisfy his darker needs...
At first it was a little weird for you, kidnapping young women and throwing them in the basement so the ghoul could sate his perverse lust on them. But you've come to enjoy the perks that go with this little arrangement (the ghoul doesn't mind a bit if the offering to present have already been - *ahem* - used). And it really is the perfect house.
