 A battle will take place.
-In a battle, you have 15 books. You may throw them at the enemy. The enemy's weapon, hit points and damage will be listed at the bottom of the screen.

-In this battle, you may throw a book each turn. To determin if it hits, get a die. If you do not have a die handy, list the numbers 1-6 on a piece of paper. Poke the paper with your eyes closed. if Jo-Ann gets a 1, 2 or 3, her book hits, and does 5 points of damage to the enemy. Otherwise, it misses. If Jo-Ann runs out of books, she will attack with a ruler. It will hit on a 1 or 2 and does 2 points of damage. she has a fresh supply of books every fight. You have 30 hit points.

-The enemy attacks every turn. This enemy has 15 hit points, fights with his fists, hits of a 1 or 2 and does 4 points of damage. If you reduce your enemy to 0 hit points, you win. Otherwise, he wins.
