Chloe is a lot faster than you think. She's really hauling ass, and you need to push to keep up. You're keeping up pretty well until halfway around the track when your feet start to hurt. That's what you get for running in casual shoes. You try to keep up, but your hurting feet distract you just enough that Chloe pulls ahead several paces. You push yourself to go faster, but so does she.
You need to think of something, quick!
As you are nearing the finish line, you see a ball lying on the ground near the track. You swerve slightly to the right and, while running, kick the ball in Chloe's direction.
The ball hits Chloe in the back of the knees, causing her to stumble. This momentary distraction proves to be just enough for you to overtake Chloe just before the finish line.
You make it just a step or two before Chloe, and the girl who was stretching declares you the winner.

"Alright. I lose. Come with me then." Chloe says.
