The crowd starts to break out in murmurs while you know you have nothing left to say. Karma breaks the silence.

"We will be running around the districts for awhile. Be sure to spread the word of new hope." Karma walks up the stopped escalator to talk to you. "Alright, lets meet up with Cytus at the residential block."

As the three of you leave the mall something starts to tear at your mind. "Hey Karma... Do any of them actually believe that I can do anything?"

She puts her index finger on her lower cheek making a thinking pose. "What do you mean by that?"

"Well its just, none of them saw me take out one of the creatures. Why should they believe i'm not just a regular person? Even still, I'm not even sure if I am any different from other people. Granted, I've never seen other people try to kill one of those things. I just guessed that i'm the only one who could."

After a moment of thinking, still holding that same pose, Karma responds. "Its probably because no one else has been able to kill a monster like that."

"So those things just run around and no one can do anything about them?"

"No. You might have wondered why Cytus, Möwe, and I are respected at all, why we have the clothes we do, and why we have a big building all to ourselves. Right? Its because we're like you. We have the ability to affect the monsters and humans, each in a separate way."

You try to take in what your hearing. Suddenly a voice comes from behind you.

"Excuse me."

You look behind you to see that it is a young girl, maybe 14 or so.

"You are going to the residential district right?" She asks timidly.

Karma responds energetically. "Sure, need an escort?"

"Umm.... yeah..." She says keeping up with us.
