One flash of light later, and you find yourself in a high-tech city. Flying cars zoom through the air. Policemen patrol the streets on hover-cycles, and some of the buildings float. A five-foot robot walks over and greets you, saying, "Welcome to Arka. How may I serve you?"

"Um...How about a cream soda?" The robot lifts its arms and a fresh cream soda materializes in its hands. You take the soda from the robot and drink it. "Good soda!" you say. "Thanks!"

Lights on the robot's face blink. "You are most welcome. And so very polite. It's just a pity..."

"What is?" you ask.

"Well, tonight is the revolution. We overthrow humanity and usher in a dystopian future of deserts, leather, drugs, and cynicism. All these flashing lights and bright colors will be replaced by shades of brown, black, gray, and white."

"How can there be shades of white?" you ask.

"Don't ask me," says the robot. "Anyway, I promise to tear out your internal organs last."

"Wait," you say.
