"Thanks for the offer," says Mitch, "But I really should be going. I've got an orientation to lead."

"Come back any time hun," says the bartender. Mitch grabs his coat and heads out the door. He turns to take one last look at the bartender. She really is beautiful. Raven black hair in a black tank top. If only he wasn't so hungover. Oh well, maybe next time. He opens the door and steps out into the morning light.

Lucky for Mitch he lives up above the bar, on the fourth floor of the building, in an apartment across from his old professor, Abbie Smith. He had economics with her last year. As he heads to his apartment and begins to open the door, Professor Smith steps out of her apartment. She is wearing a white button down blouse, blue jeans, and her reading glasses with her platinum blonde hair tied up in a bun. She's not very old, mid-late twenties, fresh out of grad school and right into teaching.

"Good morning, Mitchell," she greeted him, her words pounding into Mitch's morning hangover.

"Ow. Good morning Professor Smith," he replied as he stumbled to open his door.

"Long night last night huh?"

"You don't know the half of it. Oh well, at least I technically slept at home." Professor Smith was very familiar with The Trainyard downstairs, so she smiled at the comment.

"You look like you need a cup of coffee," she replied. "Well, I have class in a couple hours so I better get going. Go freshen up."

"Will do," said Mitch. He opened the door to his apartment as Professor Smith started to leave.
